This style of dance originated outside of dance studios in easily accessible places such as parks and open spaces, hence the word ‘street’.

It is growing in popularity, due to this style being featured in many current films, music videos and concerts.  Street dance is great fun, a fantastic way to keep fit, and no formal dance training is required to take part – all you need is a sense of adventure and a ‘give it a go’ attitude.
